Salary: £26,666 per annum, rising to £27,452 after probation
Hours: 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (12-hour shifts, days and nights)

Are you calm under pressure and skilled at keeping an eye on the bigger picture? We're seeking a dedicated Control Room Operator to join a busy remote monitoring centre in Blackburn

This is a permanent opportunity offering a structured shift pattern and the chance to play a crucial role in delivering security monitoring services to clients across the country. You'll be working with advanced video systems, handling alarm responses, and liaising with emergency services, ensuring high standards of safety and service at all times.

• Monitoring video feeds and managing remote access control systems

• Responding swiftly and professionally to electronic alarm activations

• Communicating clearly and courteously with clients and emergency services

• Maintaining accurate logs and reports of incidents and actions taken

• Working as part of a team focused on maintaining security standards

• Providing excellent customer service under sometimes pressured conditions

• A valid SIA CCTV Licence (Level 2 in CCTV Operations) - essential

• Must be 18 years of age or older - essential

• Previous experience in CCTV monitoring or a fast-paced control room

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

• Flexible approach to shift work, including nights and weekends
