Control Systems Engineer SCADA/PLC

A well-established engineering firm is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer with strong experience in PLC programming and SCADA development. This opportunity has arisen due to continued business growth and the launch of several new projects.

Key Details:

• Working Model: (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)
• Location: Easily accessible from Leeds and surrounding areas
• Salary: £30,000 – £50,000 (flexible depending on experience)
• Experience: 4–5 years in a relevant role

The Role: You’ll play a key part in the design and manufacture of electrical systems, working closely with engineering and design teams to deliver robust control solutions. The role involves developing SCADA interfaces and control systems for clients.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and implementing SCADA interfaces for new and existing systems
• Developing PLC-based control systems for remote operation
• Collaborating with a team of experienced SCADA developers
• Supporting projects from concept through to commissioning

Team & Reporting:

• Reports to the Engineering Manager and Director of Development
• Part of a collaborative team of SCADA specialists

Interview Process:

• Two-stage process: initial online interview followed by an on-site technical session and office tour.
