Control Systems Engineer - The Role:
Design and specify industrial control systems, machine safety solutions, and electrical hardware for bespoke automation projects Develop electrical schematics and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical Create controls architectures and write technical specs & process flow diagrams Collaborate closely with Design & Applications Engineers to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery Program, test & commission PLC based industrial control systems (Siemens & Allen Bradley) Conduct electrical testing & validation on newly built machines Conduct electrical testing and commissioning of new systems Support system installation and provide aftercare (minimal UK/international travel – less than 5%) Control Systems Engineer - The Person:
3+ years’ experience in PLC programming and electrical control panel design Strong understanding of machine safety standards and electrical regulations Solid understanding of industrial communications (Profinet/Profibus, Ethernet/IP, TCP/IP, OPC, IO-Link, etc.) Degree in Electrical, Control, or Automation Engineering Interest in robotics, intelligent automation or AI-driven automation advantageous Apply Today!
