The Recruitment process

The role
Join our dynamic team as we tackle exciting projects and drive improvements across our Burton Latimer and Corby sites. Reporting to our Electrical Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering technical assistance and undertaking a variety of tasks. Your responsibilities will include upgrading systems, resolving technical breakdowns, and implementing control enhancements. Be a part of our journey to push boundaries and transform our operations!

The Recipe for Success !
Successful applicants will:

Develop and maintain electrical and software control systems within Weetabix to achieve maximum performance of the current and future equipment.
Collaborate with Weetabix business unit engineering teams, Information Technology, Capital Projects, Heath, Safety & Environment business partners and Continuous improvement teams to ensure all work is carried out safely, to a high standard and meets the expectations of all stakeholders.
Be a proactive advocate of best practices, fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Ingredients

Qualifications:
Recognised Engineering qualification (HNC/HND preferred) with a grounding in Electrics.

Must have:
Strong alignment to the Weetabix values
Always curious to find new and better ways of working
A good understanding of BS EN 60204. A High knowledge of PLC, HMI with some experience of Servo systems and other products from Rockwell Automation. Siemens knowledge would also be of benefit.
A knowledge of Ethernet Networking (i.e Rockwell Stratix switches, Cisco)
Experience working with SCADA systems (Preferably Ignition) to include working with Python and SQL databases
Proven experience that can demonstrate the ability to master multiple types of control equipment i.e. temperature controllers, camera vision systems etc.
A working knowledge of machine safety and an understanding of guard circuits and PUWER regulations.
