On offer is the opportunity to join a worldwide packaging solutions company who were established in 1960 and have blossomed into the market-leading expert in their field, originating in the USA, they are looking to add to their team in the UK. They providing packaging and manufacturing solutions across Food, Protective and Medical industries.

This role will see you responsible for a range of tasks including the design and installation of Automation and Control systems. You will write PLC code from scratch, integrate systems on machines including robots and label printers and then assist on the installation and commissioning of those projects. This is a permanent, days based position where you will be working on Rockwell systems.

This role would suit someone with a background in PLC programming, Automation and Controls software coding, who is looking for a permanent role, with a global company who offer great benefits and varied projects to get involved with and make a difference on.

The Role:

• Design, Installation and Commissioning of Automation / Controls projects
• Writing code from scratch on Rockwell systems
• System integration on Manufacturing equipment
• Transformation of Operations through SCADA and Smart Factory
• Days based, permanent role

The Person:

• Controls / Automation Engineer background
• Technical knowledge of Allen Bradley / Rockwell systems
• Commutable to St. Neots
