Applied Integration is an established UK systems integrator based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. We specialise in the design and delivery of complex automation and control solutions across a range of industries.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join our engineering team.

The Role

You will work on a variety of technically challenging automation projects, supporting projects from initial design and development through to testing and commissioning.

Key responsibilities include:

* PLC software design, programming and development

* HMI and SCADA development

* Working with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell and Siemens PLC systems

* Integration of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and industrial equipment

* Industrial communications and networking

* Control system fault finding and troubleshooting

* FAT and SAT activities

* Supporting installation and commissioning

* Producing technical documentation and functional design specifications

* Working alongside electrical, mechanical, software and project engineering teams

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with:

* Strong PLC and industrial automation experience

* Allen-Bradley / Rockwell experience

* Siemens PLC experience

* HMI and/or SCADA development experience

* Industrial control system integration experience

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* FAT, SAT and commissioning experience

* Understanding of industrial communication protocols

Experience with Mitsubishi, Schneider, Beckhoff, Omron, AVEVA/Wonderware, Ignition, SQL, OPC-UA, MQTT or EtherNet/IP would also be advantageous.

This is a permanent, office-based position in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance or willing to relocate
