Converting Operator

Your responsibilities:

• Adhere to health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work, including the use of PPE and reporting near misses.

• Ensure compliance with quality procedures to maintain product standards.

• Operate production equipment efficiently to meet daily targets, with a “fix-it-myself” approach to problem-solving.

• Conduct machine and product changeovers effectively.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the production line.

• Ensure accurate stock levels using the JDE system to support cost control, meet customer orders OTIF, and align with the production plan.

• Ensure clear and effective communication between shifts and with supervision.

• Training: Support and assist in the training of new operators.

Your profile: 

• Experience: Hands-on experience in operating production equipment.

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively disseminate information to the team.

• Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team.

• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Attention to Detail: Adequate literacy and numeracy skills, with a focus on accuracy and achieving results.

• Work Ethic: Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.

• Ownership & Flexibility: A sense of responsibility with a flexible approach to meet operational demands.
