The Role

The successful candidate will play an integral role in the firm’s Conveyancing department. Based in Shrewsbury, you will handle a varied caseload of residential property matters while contributing to the department’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a full range of residential conveyancing transactions, from initial instruction to completion.
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members where applicable.
• Achieving individual billing targets and maintaining compliance with Lexcel and firm policies.
• Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities to grow the department.
• Providing clients with high-quality service and maintaining strong relationships.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
• Staying updated on developments in conveyancing law and practice to offer expert advice.

About You

You are a dedicated and experienced solicitor with:

• A minimum of five years PQE in Conveyancing.
• Extensive experience handling residential property transactions.
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail to deliver exceptional client service.
• Business development skills to support the growth of the department.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide junior team members.
• The ability to manage your own caseload independently while achieving financial objectives.
• Ideally looking for a consultant role where you are able to generate your own business quickly.
