Conveyancer

A respected South London law firm specialising in residential property is currently looking to hire a Conveyancer to join their growing team based in Morden. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer who is confident running their own caseload and looking to develop further within a supportive environment.

The successful Conveyancer will be joining a busy, friendly team with a long-established client base and a strong reputation for quality service. As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for handling a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and new builds.

The Conveyancer will be expected to manage their own files independently while contributing to the team's success and maintaining high client service standards. You'll have direct client contact, liaise with estate agents and lenders, and ensure all transactions proceed smoothly and efficiently.

You'll be working alongside experienced legal professionals and benefit from strong administrative support. This is a client-facing role suited to a Conveyancer who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a proactive, organised approach to workload management.

• At least 2 years' experience working as a Conveyancer or in a similar fee-earning role within residential property

• Ability to manage a full caseload independently

• Excellent communication skills, with a client-focused attitude

• Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and relevant legal documentation

• Relevant legal qualifications such as a CLC Licence, Law Degree, or experience as a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive are desirable

• Salary of £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
