Job Description - Conveyancer

Residential Property Lawyers - Cheshire Based

A leading Cheshire law firm is expanding its Residential Property team and is looking for a confident, client-focused Conveyancer to join the firm. With offices in across Cheshire, there is flexibility on location and scope to shape the role around the right candidate.

Whether you are newly qualified with hands-on conveyancing experience or an experienced conveyancer, this is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied caseload within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters from instruction to completion
Deliver excellent client service through proactive communication and timely updates
Ensure compliance with professional regulations, internal policies, and service level agreements
Supervise and support junior team members, including regular file reviews
Contribute to business development initiatives, converting enquiries into new instructions and identifying cross-selling opportunities
Maintain financial performance by meeting billing, profit, and cash recovery targets
Use case management systems effectively, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

Candidate Profile

NQ+ with demonstrable residential conveyancing experience
Strong communication and client care skills
Commercially aware with the ability to manage targets and deadlines
A team player who is proactive and committed to professional growth
