A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-known law firm in Eastbourne. This is a brilliant chance to become an integral part of a close-knit team, supporting a highly experienced Partner on a 1-to-1 basis.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys the variety that comes with working closely with a senior fee earner. You’ll be joining a firm with a strong reputation and longstanding presence in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Partner with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions
  
  
• Drafting and preparing legal documentation
  
  
• Liaising with clients, agents, and other solicitors
  
  
• Conducting searches and assisting with exchange and completion processes
  
  
• Managing and updating case files
  
  

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a conveyancing support role
  
  
• Confidence in handling a busy and varied workload with minimal supervision
  
  
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
  
  
• A proactive and professional attitude
  
  
• Must be local to Eastbourne or within a reasonable commute – this is an office-based role
