Job Description - Conveyancing Assistant

Conveyancing Assistant – Bradford – Regional Law Firm

A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join the Bradford office of a well-respected regional Legal 500 law firm. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Applicants should have at least two years of experience in a similar conveyancing support role.

You will work closely with a Conveyancing Fee Earner to support all aspects of the residential conveyancing process. This includes handling tasks from file opening to post-completion, such as sales and purchases, conducting searches, preparing and issuing contracts, managing enquiries and funds, liaising with clients and third parties, drafting completion statements, raising bills and preparing documents for Land Registry and SDLT submissions.

Experience with new build transactions would be an advantage, but it is not essential.

You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team of Conveyancers, Assistants and Administrators, working across a wide range of residential property matters. The role is well suited to someone who can work independently on key tasks while contributing positively to the team environment.
