Job Description - Conveyancing Assistant

Conveyancing Assistant

Are you an experienced Conveyancing Assistant with a minimum of 6 months’ experience? An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a highly reputable Legal 500 firm based in Pudsey, working closely with a Senior Fee Earner. This role offers excellent scope for career progression and professional development within a supportive and dynamic team.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have prior experience as a Conveyancing Assistant. Unfortunately, applications without this experience cannot be accepted.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Opening new files and entering new instructions into the Case Management System (CMS)
  • Producing relevant legal documents and correspondence
  • Updating the CMS in line with team protocols throughout each transaction
  • Issuing contracts on sale files and assisting with enquiries
  • Ordering property searches
  • Handling exchange processes and associated documentation
  • Coordinating completion arrangements
  • Preparing and issuing mortgage reports to clients
