Job Description - Conveyancing Assistant Paralegal

We’re working with a well-established law firm in Prestwich that’s looking to add a confident and capable Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal to its busy conveyancing team. If you’ve got a solid understanding of the conveyancing process and want to build your career in a supportive and close-knit firm, this could be a great step forward.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting fee earners on a mix of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
Assisting with drafting contracts, preparing reports, and managing enquiries
Handling post-completion work including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
Communicating with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors
Managing case files and keeping everything up to date and compliant

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a varied workload
Confident communicator who’s comfortable speaking with clients
Organised, proactive, and keen to learn and grow in a legal environment
