Conveyancing Assistant - Residential Property

Working alongside experienced conveyancers and solicitors, you'll play a key role in delivering efficient, client-focused residential property services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• 
  Assisting with residential property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
• 
  Drafting key legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements
• 
  Communicating with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other legal professionals to maintain case progression
• 
  Ordering and reviewing property searches
• 
  Preparing SDLT returns and submitting applications to the Land Registry
• 
  Managing post-completion work and maintaining accurate case records
• 
  Ensuring all work complies with internal and regulatory standards

We're looking for someone with a blend of legal knowledge, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate will have:

  At least 12 months' experience in a conveyancing support or assistant role
• 
  Familiarity with residential conveyancing workflows
• 
  Confidence using case management systems and digital tools
• 
  High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• 
  A professional and approachable attitude
• 
  The ability to work well both independently and within a team

Desirable:
