Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage all aspects of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Conduct property searches and investigations to identify any potential issues.
• Examine and advise on title documents, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to property transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and financial requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed and providing clear advice.
• Liaise with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to facilitate transactions.
• Handle the exchange of contracts and completion of transactions.
• Register property ownership with the Land Registry and deal with post-completion matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor, CILEX, Licensed Conveyancer or a Senior Paralegal acting at a Fee-Earner capacity.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in conveyancing, with a strong understanding of residential property law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in using conveyancing software and other relevant IT systems.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing a high standard of client care.
