Pertemps are working with a long-standing legal practice in North Ayrshire that provides a full range of legal services across the region. The firm is known for its approachable, client-focused team and strong reputation in residential conveyancing. This is a great opportunity for an experienced legal secretary looking to join a professional yet down-to-earth team in a well-established local office.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive secretarial support to conveyancing solicitors
Prepare and manage legal documentation: missives, title deeds, dispositions
Liaise with clients, estate agents, surveyors, and external bodies via phone, email, and in person
Order property searches, monitor deadlines, and ensure smooth transaction progression
Manage diaries and appointments, including client meetings
Maintain accurate, up-to-date case files in line with firm standards

About You:

Prior experience supporting residential conveyancing cases
Excellent attention to detail in drafting and document preparation
Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
Strong communication skills, with a professional yet personable manner
Self-motivated, well organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks
