The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and highly organised Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy residential property department in Grantham. This is a hands-on role supporting experienced fee earners in managing files from instruction to post-completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling compliance and administrative tasks for residential conveyancing files

  • Drafting and preparing contracts and legal documents

  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors

  • Conducting property searches and preparing completion statements

  • Managing post-completion processes such as AP1s, requisitions, and SDLT submissions

  • Sending completion letters and handling notices of assignment/transfers

  • Providing outstanding client care and maintaining excellent file management

  • Supporting the wider conveyancing team as needed

You The successful candidate will be a confident, detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in property law. Are you ready to take the next step in your conveyancing career?

You will need:

  • Previous experience as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, Assistant or Paralegal

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

  • A proactive, team-player mindset with the ability to work independently
