Conveyancing Paralegal – Barnsley

This well-established South Yorkshire-based firm is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join its growing Residential Property team in Barnsley. The firm offers a supportive and professional environment and is known for its client-focused approach and strong regional presence.

As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you'll be working closely with fee earners, handling a range of residential property transactions. The role will involve managing your own files under supervision, so previous hands-on experience in a fee earning capacity is essential.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting on a broad range of conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
• Handling files from instruction through to completion (with appropriate supervision)
• Liaising with clients, estate agents and other solicitors
• Preparing legal documents, carrying out searches and managing key dates

What they're looking for:

• At least 12 months’ experience in a conveyancing team
• Solid fee earning experience—ideally handling your own caseload or managing files with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A client-focused and proactive approach
