Conveyancing Solicitor - Aberdare (Rhondda Cynon Taf)
Location: Aberdare Office | Full-Time | Salary: From £55,000 + Bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Conveyancer to take on a key leadership role at a well-established and growing multi-office law firm based in South Wales. This role is ideal for a seasoned property professional looking to take the next step in their career, leading a conveyancing department while playing a key part in regional business development.

The Role

As Office Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the conveyancing offering in the Aberdare office. This is a hands-on role where you will manage your own caseload while driving the strategic growth of the office and wider residential property team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and expanding the Residential Conveyancing services at the Aberdare office

• Handling a varied caseload including freehold, leasehold, new build, shared ownership, and transfer of equity transactions

• Building relationships with local estate agents, brokers, and referrers to support business development

• Mentoring junior team members and supporting professional development

• Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders across the wider firm

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Aberdare office in partnership with legal operations support

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer

• A minimum of 6 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing

• Proven experience managing a conveyancing team or department

• Strong technical knowledge across all areas of residential property

• Excellent communication and client care skills

• Commercial awareness and confidence in business development

• Ability to work predominantly from the Aberdare office (minimum 4 days per week)
