Role: Corporate Legal Director - Lead Role (M&A / Corporate Advisory)
Location: Sheffield (National Law Firm)
Salary: £80,000 - £150,000 DOE
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Working pattern: Hybrid (50% office / 50% home)

Overview
CRA Consulting is recruiting for a leading national firm seeking a Corporate Legal Director to spearhead its Sheffield corporate practice. This is an excellent platform for a proven Senior Corporate Solicitor-or a high-performing Senior Associate-seeking a clear pathway to Partnership with equity milestones outlined from day one.

Key responsibilities
* Lead and deliver mid-market M&A, PE/VC, joint ventures, reorganisations and corporate governance matters
* Act as primary contact for key clients; manage transactions end-to-end from heads to completion
* Supervise and develop junior lawyers; drive efficiency and technical excellence across deals
* Lead BD/origination: pitches, referrer networks, and cross-selling with national practice groups
* Contribute to Sheffield office strategy, team resourcing and profitability

About you
* UK-qualified Corporate Solicitor (c. 8+ PQE as a guide) with a strong deals record
* Confident leading complex transactions and negotiating at board level
* Demonstrable team leadership and mentoring capability
* Commercially astute with proven client development/origination skills

Package & progression
* £80,000 - £150,000 base salary (DOE)
