Core Curriculum Trainer 

Learning & Organisational Development | National (Remote with travel) 

We're at an exciting point in how we support learning across Change Grow Live. 

This role offers a real opportunity to help shape the learning experiences that support colleagues to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care. You'll work directly with staff across the organisation, helping turn learning into confident practice and ensuring colleagues feel equipped to make a difference from day one. 

 

Location: Remote / Closest Regional Business Hub
Hours: Full time, 37.5
Contract: Permanent

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.









Responsibilities






About the role 

This is a remote role with regular travel to services. 

You'll play a key role in designing, developing and delivering our core curriculum, supporting colleagues across Change Grow Live to build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need in their roles. 

Alongside delivering engaging learning, you'll work closely with subject matter experts, operational teams and L&OD colleagues to continuously improve content and ensure learning remains relevant, practical and aligned to organisational priorities. 

You'll also lead on specialist areas of learning, helping to build capability across the organisation through mentoring, collaboration and communities of practice. 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Delivering engaging, learner-centred training both in person and online 
  • Designing and updating practical, evidence-based learning resources 
  • Creating psychologically safe learning environments that encourage participation, reflection and skills development 
  • Using feedback and evaluation data to improve learning content and delivery 
  • Working with subject matter experts to ensure training remains current and relevant 
  • Building relationships with services to understand development needs and to support engagement 
  • Leading on specialist areas of learning and supporting the development of communities of practice 
  • Supporting colleagues during implementations and other service development work. 

What we’re looking for 

We're looking for someone who is passionate about learning and enjoys helping others develop the confidence and capability to deliver great care. 

You'll bring: 

  • Experience designing and facilitating learning in both face-to-face and virtual environments  
  • Strong facilitation skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences Experience using feedback, evaluation or learner insights to improve training  
  • The ability to build positive relationships with operational colleagues and subject matter expert 
  • An understanding of the drug and alcohol sector, or wider health and social care environment  
  • A commitment to inclusive, accessible and practice-focused learning 

You'll be collaborative, reflective and motivated by seeing learning make a difference in day-to-day practice.
