Full-Time Core Subject Learning Support Assistant (Maths, English & Science)

Are you a knowledgeable and committed individual with a passion for supporting students in their academic journey? We are currently seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work across secondary schools in Southwark, providing targeted support in core subjects: Maths, English, and Science.

This is a five-day-per-week role within welcoming and well-established schools that are known for their supportive leadership, inclusive ethos, and strong focus on staff development.

The Role:

Provide in-class and small group support across Maths, English, and Science lessons
Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored academic support
Support students of varying abilities, including those requiring additional help to access the curriculum
Assist in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
Contribute to student progress through structured interventions and one-to-one support where requiredRequirements:

Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational role is essential
Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science
A degree is preferred (particularly in a relevant subject area)
Confident communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
