We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN (Special Education Needs) / SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).
We are looking for SEN / SEND teachers with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners by providing holistic teaching.
This role is perfect for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.
The SEN / SEND Teacher role:
This role will involve providing Maths, English, or Science teaching to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.
Planning/marking each lesson of teaching Providing the students with holistic and engaging sessions which meet their needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey SEN / SEND Teacher requirements:
Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS) Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed) Two professional references You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK It is a strict requirement that you have the ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
