We are seeking a creative and innovative Corporate Chef to lead the culinary operations of all quick service, casual and dining brands for Thomas United Company Limited. The incumbent will assume complete responsibility for kitchen operations with multiple cuisines, multiple concepts, and multiple location kitchen operations. Initiatives and activities that the Corporate Chef will actively be involved in include:
• Hands on responsibility for all kitchen operations including equipment, staffing and menus.
• Responsibility for development, implementation and continuity of Quality assurance programs
• P&L responsibility for producing results through revenue generation plus the efficient management of inventory, labor and general costs.
• Developing menus and supporting the growth of the Dining Room, Al Fresceo, and Catering Departments.
Successful applicants should have excellent communication skills, strong people management skills, and experience working with a multi-cultural workforce. A Degree/Diploma in Hotel, Restaurant, or Culinary Management is required with at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. The incumbent should be highly organized and proficient in the use of restaurant related software.
Due to the nature of the business, applicants must be prepared to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
