Corporate Development Manager - The Opportunity

Our client, a fast-growing pharmaceuticals company, is seeking a Corporate Development Manager with c2 years’ M&A advisory experience, to support their ambitious European expansion strategy. Following their recent successful acquisition funding, they require an experienced M&A professional to drive their active deal pipeline.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager or junior Manager to join a dynamic, PE-backed organisation, where you will work directly with senior leadership. You will play a crucial role in shaping strategic growth initiatives across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support end-to-end transaction execution from initial screening through to completion

• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for M&A transactions and licensing opportunities

• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on acquisition targets and licensing assets

• Prepare detailed analysis and board-level presentations for senior leadership

• Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on post-acquisition integration planning

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in M&A Advisory either within a Big 4/Top 10 Lead Advisory team or within an M&A Corporate Development

• Proven track record working on M&A transactions (TransactionServices only experience is not suitable)

• Advanced financial modelling capabilities with ability to build complex models from scratch

• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Excellent presentation skills with experience preparing executive-level materials

• Self-motivated individual comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sector experience or interest

• Professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) or part-qualified status
