Corporate Finance Director

Corporate Finance Director required for a highly acquisitive, PE backed business with its head quarters in Central London. Reporting to the CFO the Corporate Finance Director will be responsible for leading the finance team (currently 20 across Group Finance, Treasury, Tax, Payroll and Financial Operations, additional hires may be required).

Candidates will be ACA qualified and have significant experience in leading Group finance and financial operations. Significant experience of supporting M&A activity from an accounting, due diligence and integration perspective is essential.

The business is growing at a phenomenal rate; therefore, we seek a highly motivated, capable individual who can operate at pace. Creating a "best-in-class" finance department and be a trusted number two to the CFO.

The successful candidate will be awarded equity in the business with an exit planned within the next 2-3 years.

Role overview:

• Management / Production of the annual statutory accounts and managing 3rd party tax advisors
• Management of 3rd party tax advisors and assess what can be brought back in-house.
• Ownership / improvement of the accounting system and purchase order system including development to meet the needs to the business as it continues to grow
• Ownership of the monthly cashflow, covenants, balance sheet reporting and group consolidation.
• Establishment of a professional Treasury function
• Manage banking relationship
• Be the 'go to’ person for technical accounting and tax advice and know when to get external support when required.
• Oversee audit relationships and manage the end-to-end external audit process
• Lead and develop the finance team
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly board packs
• Restructuring work and company strike offs.
• Support on acquisitions ensuring the needs of finance can be met and input on DD as appropriate to help reduce any risks. Manage successful integration of acquired businesses.
