Since 2012, IWI has worked to eradicate and educate on human rights violations against women. We take our values very seriously and believe that we cannot one day have equality without transparency, collaboration, inclusiveness, integrity, or tenacity.

The Corporate Membership Engagement Officer will be a key member of IWI’s Membership team. This position will lead the development of IWI’s corporate membership strategy, programme, and activities. This exciting position contributes to an organisation at the forefront of nonprofit media and will contribute significantly to IWI’s exploration of opportunities for sustainability and engagement.

As a member of IWI’s Membership team, you will develop and manage IWI’s corporate membership programme, working closely with staff across the organisation. Based on insights gleaned from analysing the behaviour, needs, and networks of IWI’s digital audiences, you will help fortify and grow IWI’s corporate outreach, as well as online community with the goal of growing revenue and commitment to sustaining IWI.

Responsibilities
    Analyse a variety of qualitative and quantitative data to better understand IWI’s audience
    Provide insights to contribute to an integrated digital membership content, social media, audio, and communications strategy for growing IWI’s corporate audience
    Create an outreach membership strategy, programme and activities to develop corporate relationships which will lead to memberships
    Synthesise information into clearly-written reports and recommendations
    Assist with development of marketing campaign plans for target audiences, informed by analysis, for key initiatives

Qualifications

    Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    Flexibility, initiative, and good problem-solving abilities
    Multicultural experience and sensitivity to cross-cultural differences
    Exceptional people skills and high level of proficiency in written and oral communication skills including listening and speaking 1:1 or with small and large audiences.
    Strong customer service orientation and satisfaction in providing assistance.
    Strong project planning, critical thinking, and problem solving; self-motivated and self-directed with entrepreneurial spirit.
    Minimum 3 years working in the nonprofit membership sector, preferably in corporate membership
