About The Role


Location: Hatfield (Hybrid)


Employment type: Full-Time, Permanent


Reports to: Head of PayByPhone Business


The Corporate Sales Executive helps to increase and grow PayByPhone's B2B user volume by generating new sales leads. 



Key Responsibilities



  • Proactively generate qualified leads through inbound channels, outreach, networking, and industry events

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and deliver tailored, persuasive presentations

  • Confidently handle objections and position PayByPhone as the preferred solution

  • Develop and negotiate proposals, pricing, and contracts to close deals efficiently

  • Collaborate with Account Management, Marketing, Product, Operations, Customer Support, and Finance to align on client needs and deliver value

  • Ensure smooth client handovers by sharing documented insights and personally introducing Account Managers

  • Follow up post-sale to reinforce client satisfaction and continuity performance tracking

  • Work closely with the Head of PayByPhone Business



Required Qualifications



  • Demonstrable previous success in a Sales role

  • Experience of working to and achieving / exceeding targets and KPIs

  • Able to communicate with small, medium and large businesses

  • Self-starting mentality, driven to succeed and over exceed targets

  • Comfortable with computer tools like MS Office, Teams, Salesforce, etc.).



What We Offer


Compensation: The expected salary range for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 plus commission. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
