The Role
Reporting to the Corporate Services Director, you will lead and develop the Corporate Services team, ensuring the efficient delivery of finance, governance, ICT and office management functions.
This is a varied role that combines strategic oversight with hands on management, offering the opportunity to contribute to organisational development while ensuring high standards of compliance, financial control and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, motivate and develop the Corporate Services team Conduct regular one-to-ones and performance reviews Foster a positive, high-performing culture Support delivery of departmental objectives and business goals Deputise for the Corporate Services Director when requiredFinance
Oversee financial operations and accounting processes Manage budgets and monitor expenditure Review management accounts and financial reporting Support annual audits and statutory accounts preparation Assist with regulatory and financial returns Continuously improve financial systems and proceduresGovernance & Compliance
Support strong corporate governance practices Develop and review policies and procedures Ensure effective communication with Board members and stakeholders Maintain compliance with organisational and regulatory requirementsICT & Office Management
Oversee ICT strategy implementation and supplier relationships Manage office operations and service contracts Support business continuity planning Maintain effective administrative processes Assist with health and safety requirements Oversee website and social media updates
About You

Proven people management and leadership experience Strong experience managing finance functions and accounting systems Excellent communication and reporting skills Strong organisational and planning abilities Experience driving process improvements and enhancing performance Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications A customer focused and solutions oriented approach
