The Opportunity

An award-winning and forward-thinking commercial law firm in Manchester is seeking a Corporate Solicitor with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded Corporate team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a junior solicitor looking to work on high-quality corporate transactions within a collaborative, modern, and commercially driven environment. You'll be joining a team that acts for a wide range of clients - from ambitious start-ups and SMEs to high-growth businesses and large corporates - across a broad spectrum of transactional and advisory work.

The Role

• As part of a growing team, you'll support senior lawyers and partners while also gaining increasing responsibility for your own caseload and client relationships. You'll be exposed to high-quality matters from day one, including:
• Mergers & acquisitions (share and asset purchases)
• Private equity and investment transactions
• Group reorganisations and restructuring
• Shareholder agreements and corporate governance
• General corporate advisory work
• The team is known for its partner-led approach, commercial mindset, and ability to offer junior lawyers real client exposure and hands-on experience from the outset.

What We're Looking For

• A qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 1+ year PQE in corporate law
• Solid experience assisting on or running corporate transactions (ideally both buy and sell-side)
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• A commercial and pragmatic approach to legal advice
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
