Job Title: Corporate Tax Assistant
Location: Aberdeen
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £27,500 - £30,500 per annum

An excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in corporate tax. Working within a busy tax team, you will support direct and indirect tax compliance activities, assist with corporation tax returns and computations, and contribute to a range of tax administration and reporting processes.

You will work closely with finance and tax stakeholders, gaining exposure to UK and international tax activities while developing your technical knowledge and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the preparation of UK corporation tax returns and computations
* Assist with direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting activities
* Support overseas tax reporting and administration processes
* Maintain accurate tax records and compliance documentation
* Assist with tax-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
* Support the use of tax and finance systems
* Contribute to process improvements and compliance initiatives
* Work with finance teams to ensure deadlines are achieved

Skills & Experience

Essential
* Accounting, finance, or tax experience (or relevant qualification)
* Basic understanding of accounting principles
* Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
* Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
* Eagerness to learn and develop within a tax environment

Desirable
* ATT studies or interest in pursuing ATT qualification
* Exposure to corporate tax, finance compliance, or accounting processes
* Experience using tax or finance software
