Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

A leading Top 5 accountancy and advisory firm is seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager to join their growing Corporate & M&A Tax team. This is a fantastic chance to work on a wide range of tax advisory and compliance matters, supporting high-profile clients across sectors including technology, real estate, private equity, and financial services. You'll play a key role in managing client relationships, leading projects, and contributing to strategic tax advice on M&A transactions, restructures, and international expansion.

• Manage a varied client portfolio, ensuring high-quality delivery of corporate tax compliance and advisory services
• Lead on the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and supporting computations
• Provide transaction tax support, including due diligence, structuring, and post-deal integration
• Monitor tax developments and proactively advise clients on potential impacts and opportunities
• Work closely with senior stakeholders and Partners to support business development initiatives
• Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their professional growth

• Professionally qualified ACA and/or CTA
• Solid understanding of UK corporation tax, international tax principles, and M&A advisory work
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Confident communicator with experience managing client relationships
• Detail-oriented with a commercial mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience working in a large professional services or advisory environment is highly desirable
