Sheridan Maine is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Corporate Tax Manager to join a growing accountancy practice based in Exeter. This role offers the opportunity to manage corporate tax compliance and advisory work, providing valuable input on tax planning and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.

You will work closely with finance and senior management teams, supporting business decisions with expert tax guidance and identifying opportunities for tax efficiency.

Key Responsibilities as Tax Manager:

• Manage all corporate tax compliance and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impact on the business.
• Liaise with HMRC and external advisors as necessary.
• Support internal teams with tax-related queries and training.
  
  

The Successful Tax manager Will Possess:

• CTA qualified or part-qualified with relevant corporate tax experience.
• Strong understanding of UK corporate tax rules and compliance.
• Ability to interpret complex tax legislation and apply practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware.
• Experience working with tax software and accounting systems.
• 2+ years of experience in a UK practice.
