Cost Accountant

As a Cost Accountant, you'll help steer the company's financial operations by ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in cost reporting. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-impact business.

• Onsite role - 5 days in the office
• Location - Central London
• Salary - £45,000 to £55,000 DOE

What can you expect?

• Manage elements of the P&L related to logistics costs.
• Assist with posting accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Performing variance analysis for forecast vs budget.
• Produce monthly and weekly forecasts for cashflow.
• Coordinate with external partners to manage payments and resolve invoicing issues.
• Manage AP/AR transactions linked to key operational activities.
• Ensure timely invoicing, approvals under delegated authority, and accurate coding.
• Handle cost documentation.
• Document and update key financial procedures to ensure compliance and clarity.

What skills/ experience will you bring?

• At least 3/4 years of experience in a Accounting role and currently working towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified/ finalist.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and cost control.
• Strong Excel skills and SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Confident with financial systems, reconciliations, and reporting.
