Review financial transactions and expense classifications, resolving discrepancies and ensuring costs are recognised in the appropriate accounting periods. Analyse expenditure across business areas, investigating variances and providing explanations for movements in costs. Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving outstanding items. Collaborate with finance teams and operational stakeholders to investigate queries, resolve accounting issues and improve the accuracy of financial information. Support the allocation of shared expenses across group companies, including intercompany recharges and transfer pricing arrangements. Contribute to the development of stronger financial controls and more effective cost reporting processes. Provide supporting financial information and documentation for internal and external audits. Identify opportunities to streamline existing accounting activities, reduce manual processes and introduce greater automation.

Experience within financial services or another regulated environment is highly desirable. Candidates from large, complex multinational organisations with relevant accounting experience are also encouraged to apply.
