Description

• Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
• Prepare and analyse cost reports to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with project managers to forecast and control expenditures.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency measures.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Support the accounting and finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in cost control processes.

Profile

A successful Cost Accountant should have:

• A strong background in a similar costing role, ideally gained within the energy, heavy industrial, or similar industry.
• Either be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
• An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial challenges.

Job Offer
