The synergy with the wider group provides opportunities for InSite to share knowledge and skills and take part in huge projects, whilst still retaining the benefits of being a small-size company that values a flexible and friendly working environment.We now have an opportunity for a motivated and suitably qualified Cost Estimator to join our team.Key responsibilities:Lead the preparation of cost estimates for project at various phases; e.g. FEED, detailed design, etc.Prepare and check estimate reports and presentations for the client.Lead the cost interface with the client.Liaise with contractors and vendors for input into estimates.Co-ordinate estimating activities with other disciplines.Attend internal and external project review meetings.Input to project plans and schedules. Identification of scope of work required to undertake a project. Estimation of deliverables and hours required to deliver a project. Owners engineering services.Key competencies, skills and knowledge required:Minimum 5 years relevant cost estimating experience.Engineering degree or relevant industry experience.Understanding of engineering deliverables feeding into a Material Take-Off / Bill of Quantities.Demonstrated capability in one or more of the following industries would be an advantage: Refining, Petrochemical, Fuel Storage Terminals, Sustainable Fuels, Hydrogen.Competent in the use of MS Office applications.Exposure to mentoring of junior team members and apprentices.Commercial and contracts experience.Company Benefits:Flexible working32 days Annual leaveLife Insurance*Pension – 10% contribution by EmployerPrivate medical insurance*Employee assistance programmeEnhanced maternity and paternity payTraining and developmentCycle to Work scheme*Employee referral scheme*After successful completion of Probationary Period
