COST MANAGER

Location - Mansfield (Hybrid - 2 days in the office)
Day rate - £348 via umbrella
Initial duration - 6 months
IR35: Inside

Required experience: construction / NEC project delivery / cost estimation / QS and analysing tender process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and develop initial cost estimates for construction projects, providing accurate forecasts from project inception.
Analyse and evaluate tender submissions, assessing pricing structures and overall value for construction projects.
Produce and maintain monthly cost forecasts, comparing contractor projections against project budgets and identifying variances.
Assess and manage Compensation Events (CEs) within an NEC contract environment, ensuring accurate cost control and compliance.
Review and evaluate Applications for Payment (AFP), providing recommendations for approval or challenge where appropriate.
Identify, analyse and utilise quality cost data from completed projects to support benchmarking, forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives.Please do reach out to Barbara discuss on (phone number removed).
