A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant (Costings) to join a thriving national maintenance contractor. This is a pivotal, office-based role offering structure, development, and the chance to become a vital part of a collaborative finance team.

The Role:
Working closely with the Finance Controller, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial administration. Key duties include:

Reviewing call out and remedial costings before approval
Final checks on job paperwork and updates to client portals
Monitoring portals for job completion and invoice instructions
Ensuring profit margins and costs are correct
Highlighting discrepancies in jobs, subcontractor charges, and margins
Requesting client POs and uplifts (with managerial approval)
Creating and processing sales invoices
Providing general administrative support to the finance team

Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills
Confident working across multiple platforms
Strong communication and organisational skills
Thrives in a team and takes a proactive, can-do approach
