Role Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of Defendant/Claimant costs files
• Draft points of dispute, bills of costs and replies
• Skilfully negotiate costs offers

Experience Requirements:

• Proven experience in the insurance sector (RTA, Employment/Public Liability, Industrial Disease, Clinical Negligence)
• Good working knowledge of the Fixed Recoverable Costs regime
• Advocacy experience (interim applications, cost case management, detailed assessment hearings)
• Expertise in costs case management (cost budgets, budget discussion reports)
• Exceptional negotiation skills
• Proficiency in drafting bills of costs, points of dispute and schedules
