A highly respected London law firm is seeking an experienced Costs Draftsperson to join their Family Department, focusing on legal aid billing. This Central London-based role offers hybrid working and is available for immediate start.

The successful Costs Draftsperson will manage billing using CCMS and CWA, handling EC1, ECF, Claim1, Claim1A, Claim2, and Detailed Bills. You will liaise with other Costs Draftspersons, submit outcomes on CCMS, allocate costs for counsel, upload final orders, and address notifications from courts and professionals.

Experience with legal aid billing, claims against public authorities, and public law matters such as judicial reviews is highly desirable. You will also manage payments on account, analyse BACS statements, and ensure accurate, timely billing.
