Description

Manage legal spend across complex litigation and arbitration matters.
Review, process and monitor legal invoices.
Track budgets and produce financial management reports.
Analyse legal costs, time entries and fee allocations.
Challenge and query external counsel billing where appropriate.
Build relationships with multiple external law firms.
Monitor financial performance across a portfolio of disputes.
Support arbitration matters as required.
Assist with implementing more structured budgeting and reporting processes.
Work closely with senior legal stakeholders on spend management and forecasting.Profile

5+ year's experience within a legal operations, legal finance, legal executive or senior paralegal position.
Experience managing legal spend, budgets, invoices or financial reporting within a legal environment.
Comfortable reviewing and challenging external counsel invoices and fee allocations.
Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse data and produce meaningful reports.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Able to manage competing priorities independently with minimal supervision.
Experience working with complex litigation, arbitration or disputes matters would be advantageous.
Exposure to top-tier law firms or large legal functions would be beneficial.Job Offer
