The Role

Forestdale Business Services is a family-owned independent business supplying janitorial, hygiene and packaging products to customers across the region. We are looking for a Counter Balance Forklift and Reach Truck Driver to join our Mitcham team.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, with overtime as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Goods inwards, the accurate receiving and accepting of incoming goods, verifying the items received against delivery notes, checking the quantity and quality received.
• Loading and unloading within a busy warehouse and yard environment.
• FLT Counterbalance & Reach driving
• Manual handling
• Ensuring a tidy workplace
• Communicating effectively within the workplace
• Adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations

The Person

• Must have at least 3 years experience working as a Counter Balance Fork Lift and Reach Truck Driver and dealing with Goods inwards
• Excellent spoken English
• Able to work independently or within a team
• Able to cope under tight deadlines
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Be in excellent physical health, capable of loading and unloading of goods
• Must be very reliable
• Must have current Counter Balance and Fork lift licence and held it for 3 year or more
• Live within commuting distance of Mitcham
