Counterbalance and Reach Truck Driver

Tennial Personnel are seeking skilled and dependable Warehouse Operatives to join our client’s team in Ipswich, with a planned relocation to a brand-new facility in Stowmarket. This is a full-time temporary position lasting approximately 3 to 4 months, with an attractive completion bonus for those who fulfil the full contract.

Start Date: Immediate

Shifts Available (Monday to Friday):

6:00am – 3:30pm
7:30am – 5:00pm
(Includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch and two paid 15-minute breaks)

This role involves operating both Reach and Counterbalance forklifts, alongside a variety of warehouse duties including loading, unloading, picking, packing, and general warehouse support.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pick, pack, palletise, and dispatch goods

Carry out daily forklift checks and uphold health and safety standards

Open and secure the warehouse, including alarm setting and access control

Provide cross-functional support and cover for the Warehouse Supervisor when required

Maintain cleanliness and assist with general warehouse upkeep

Skills:

Previous warehouse experience

Strong organisational and time-keeping skills

Excellent communication

Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure

Qualifications:

Valid Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Licenses

Basic computer skills
