Counterbalance Driver

Streamline Recruitment are working with a global logistics company to recruit an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator. This role is ideal for a confident operator who thrives in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a Counterbalance forklift to move, stack and position goods.

* Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled safely.

* Complete pre- and post-use equipment checks, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.

* Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

* Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.

* Follow all health and safety procedures, escalating hazards or incidents immediately.

Requirements:

* Previous experience operating a Counterbalance forklift.

* A valid Counterbalance forklift licence is preferred.

* Confident working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

* Reliable, with strong attention to detail.

* Experienced operators with recently expired licences may also be considered.

Location: Stanford-le-Hope
Pay: £14.42 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
