Counterbalance Driver Dunstable

Newstaff Employment Services is currently seeking a skilled Counterbalance Driver to join our team in Dunstable. In this role, you will be responsible for operating counterbalance forklifts to efficiently move, locate, and stack products within our warehouse or distribution facility. Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts to transport goods to and from storage areas, loading docks, and production lines.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safe operation.
• Accurately pick, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies regarding forklift operation and warehouse procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or storage areas.
• Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (in-house licenses may not be accepted).
• Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to forklift operation.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to adapt to varying tasks as needed within the warehouse.
