Counterbalance Driver - Hemel Hempstead

Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a dedicated Counterbalance Driver for our operations in Hemel Hempstead.You will be working Monday - Friday, starting at 7am, As a Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating counterbalance forklifts to move and stack products within our warehouse environment. Your expertise will help ensure that our products are handled efficiently and stored correctly. Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts to transport materials and products throughout the facility.
• Perform routine safety checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
• Pick and prepare orders accurately for shipments, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
• Assist with inventory control through regular tracking and updating of stock levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.

• Current Counterbalance Forklift License (in-house licenses may not be accepted).
• Prior experience in operating counterbalance forklifts in a similar warehouse or distribution role.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to forklift operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-based environment.
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Competent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to adapt and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
