Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Mitcham

Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable logistics and distribution company based in Mitcham, for a skilled and dependable Forklift & Warehouse Operative. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an individual with proven warehouse experience and valid forklift certifications. The role involves operating various types of forklifts and driving between two warehouse locations, requiring a clean UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach) to safely move, stack, and organize goods
• Load and unload deliveries, containers, and pallets
• Conduct daily safety checks and basic maintenance of forklift equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Support general warehouse operations as required

Essential Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RITTB accredited – in-house licences not accepted)
• Full, clean UK Driving Licence – no points or endorsements
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong understanding of forklift safety and warehouse protocols
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
