Counterbalance Forklift Operator (FLT)

Position: Counterbalance Forklift Drivers (FLT)
Contract Type: Temporary/ Temp-to-Perm

Shift Pattern (Days): 6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm (weekly rotation)

Pay: £17.05 per hour + Holiday Pay + Benefits

Shift Pattern (Nights): 10pm-6am

Pay: £18.89 per hour + Holiday Pay + Benefits

Location: South Ockendon, Essex

Are you an experienced FLT Driver looking for your next opportunity? Adecco Romford & London East are recruiting for skilled Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a busy warehouse and yard operation. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidates!

**Due to the location of this client and the shift times - it is best suited to applicants with their own transport**

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a 4.5 Ton Counterbalance Forklift with triple forks to move, stack and organise pallets
Load and unload pallet stacks from HGVs and delivery vehicles
Safely transport and store pallets within the warehouse and yard
Carry out daily forklift safety checks and basic maintenance where required
Assist with manual handling and warehouse duties as needed Requirements:

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
Previous experience operating heavy-duty forklifts, ideally 4.5 Ton or above
Experience using double or triple fork attachments would be advantageous
Good understanding of warehouse operations
